Is it me or do some movies really need to be left alone..

There are some I cant wait to see praposed sequels to:

Rocky Balboa
Total Recall 2 (if they ever get it done)
True Lies 2 (wonder why it still isnt out was supposed to be oiut in like 1998)
Commando 2 (something Arnold put on a list of things he wants to reconsider)
Die Hard 4
TRON 2.0 (not sure where that stanids after 5 years now)

But one remake i cant stand is "Love cant by a thing"

Not only is it a remake, but its a screwed up black comedy remake of "cant Buy me love"

Maybe one of movies is enough.

Absolutely, many need to be left alone. The Pink Panther for one. Peter Sellers was GREAT! The remake, yuck. I hear there is going to be a remake of The classic Dead movies with, Bruce Cambell. PLEASE! His friend Sam Rammi is produceing it and Bruce is not in it. Get real. Bruce was Ash

Agreed. Some movies I like and will go see sequels or remakes to, but usually it just seems like a remake is a cheap way to make some money because the script is pretty much there and people liked it when it came out the first time, so you already got a market for it. Same with sequels, you got a framework to work with and an audience who liked it. Most of the time I'd rather see something original.

Some remakes and sequels aren't bad, but I do not agree with your list for ones you'd want to see. If you watch enough movies - and I mean OLD movies - you'll see that pretty much every idea from back then has been redone. EXAMPLE - found my bf watching a cheesy movie from early 80's about two competing cheerleading squads that would do anything to win the big competition - Gee, sound familiar?

Just about every movie you named needs no sequel, and I hope there won't be any for any of them. Sequels always suck. The only sequel that didn't was Godfather 2. And as for remakes, if people would go see good well crafted original movies, we wouldn't need remakes.

I think in some movies that yes they do need a seque. In scary movies they need a sequel, there have been some movies that didn't need a sequel like the Scary Movies Sequels they have.

too many of them are just done for more money...i likes just a few - they really had some sense
I'm not against sequels for comedies - but serious movies should mostly be left alone
