I have a pacemaker implante as my heart beats too fast sometimes. The pacemaker will shock me if the beating is sustained too long. This shock is a horrific experience. I never had any shocks and my health was great. I did have a particular drug I need to take with this thang they put in me, that was making me very tired. One of my docs let me lower my dose and I was grooving, feeling great. Then I went to see a NueroCardiologist who put this gizzmo in me. I told him I was taking nutritional supplements and had lowered my Rx dose and that I was feeling great/better. He poo pooed my enthusiasm and without me realizing it, behind my back, reprogrmed the pacemaker. They can do this remotely while you are in office. Since that time, I have been shocked 6 times. I notified him of this. Now he wants to do a surgery to ablate or kill heart nerves. I think this guy intentionally manipulated me to get these shocks so he could operate. He let me be shocked to scare me. What should I do here?

Yep, I am seeing another doc shortly. And gathering info to make my point as well as considering seeing a lawyer. Need more info. before I jump.
I ask this question for two reasons. One is to see if I have thought/covered all the bases and the other is to make others aware that this sort of thing is going on.
If we all are aware and we chase these so and so's, things wouldn't be so screwed up in our society and country ...maybe on many other/diff. levels as well.

Definately see a different cardiologist. If you are unsatisfied in any way, you will always have doubts. Perhaps a different doctor can explain it better to you.

Definitely you should get a second opinion from another cardiologist.

I have no way of knowing whether the current doctor is treating you properly or manipulating you intentionallly, and I don't think anyone reading here has enough information to make that judgment.

You will have to be examined by another cardiologist and find out if he comes to the same conclusions.

Ok go to you basic physician and inform him of this and see if you can get a second opinion. If the doctor didn't ask you to reprogram this gizmo you have. That meens he did it against your consent, his first mistake. If you can get a free consultation with a lawyer and see if you have a case because of this gizmo you can have longterm damage...and what ever you do dont let this F**Kin doctor open you up because he's just tyring to get money from the surgery. Like i said try and get a second opinion or even a thrid from another Cadiologist.
