Here it goes:
a young guy (+-13) arrives in a town alone, with no money, with no friends...and in the story plot in needs to find a sort of employer for who he'd work to get fed and get a bed.

How could I make that happen?
Any propositions are gratefully accepted.

Well, it would have to be minister or sheriff who's motives are to find out who the kid is and get him back home. It would have to be a small enough town where they would not just turn them over to CPS. Or the adult that gives them the job could have been raised in the system and not want to put the kid into it right away. He would then possible give him side jobs at the house so he could stay there. He could not give him a payroll check as that's illegal.

you could have the guy meet a pretty girl and she like shows him around, they hit it off, he stays overnight because there he has no where else to stay. (of course nothing happens), dad gets mad and he explains to him that he has no where to stay. dad lets him stay there if he works around the house and he gets a job as a photographer at one of those family picture places.

-Good Luck-
