I make beaded jewelry and I'm always looking for unique metal components such as chandelier earring components, hammered metal links, and unique pendants. It seems as if all the websites I've visited offer the same products. I always see other designers using beautiful components in their pieces, so I know they are out there somewhere; I just can't seem to find them.

www.firemountaingems.com has an extensive selection and try Ebay. Go to the jewelery and watches than click on the appropriate section. there are thousands of beads and jewelery components offered.

Some of the other designer may make their own components. It's amazing what you can do with a bit of wire, some solder and a torch.

Seems to me that you could even go to a local hardware-Home depot,etc., store and with a bit of imagination and some copper, or other metal flashing, you could come up with something pretty nice.

look for wax release I think that's the term you can make your own in wax
