I have, She stole a car and did some time for felony grand theft; auto, a few months in a California state prison for women (Victorville). In retrospect. All the demonization of her parents she did, they were only looking out for her own good. She screwed me out of a bunch of money and left me pennyless and homeless (seriously!), a year later that song by Limp Bisket came out "Nookie", I laughed when I heard that song, because it was exactly what happened to me.

Absolutely. People make mistakes, many are innocent. Put the shoe on the other foot and think of how you would feel. The prison population has doubled since 1985.That means soon we'll all be criminals in the new world order. The prisons are a business.Dont believe the hype.

Well, I suppose it would depend on what kind of crimes the person committed, but I like to think that people can change and that your past doesn't have to define you. As long as I felt like I could trust that the person would not go back to their old habits, then I think I would be willing to give them a chance.

Depends on the charge. If they were picked up ONE time for something like a DUI or public intoxication, then maybe. If they have served prison time, No way. I deal with those kind of people enough.

depends on what exactly that criminal past entailed. I'd not disqualify a potential mate for smoking weed for instance.

in my opion people can change. so if i was single probably. it would really depend on the charges and if they felt they have learned a leason. i have lots of friends with criminal past and all of them are really cool to hang with.

Yes, and not because I like the bad boy image.. Because I believe that people can change. I gues if it was hardcore crimal charges I would think a little harder about it.

suppose I would if the crime wasn't too bad. Some make a mistake in life and learn from it so I would give him the benefit of the doubt.

No, if they had a history of violent crime or self-destructive behavior.
Yes, if they'd been busted for sex in public, stealing huge sums of still-unrecovered cash, or anything minor and victimless.
