You can only get pregnant when you're ovulating which is approximately 12-16 days after you've stopped bleeding.

If you are on the pill or something like that you will be covered. It depends what method of contraception you are using or are you just doing it by the rhythums of your periods. It will proberly be less likely to get pregnant following just having your periods, as you have just ovulated and therefore the egg should be gone.

I would still be careful any way as stranger things have happened.I fell pregnant and still had a period........i guess you never know

Ovulation occurs approx. 14 days after the START of your period.(1st day +14). You can get pregnant at anytime, but more likely to during ovulation. You can have sex anytime, even during your period. There is no bad time to have sex, unless your in public.

as sperm can live in your body up to 8 days, the only good way of protectiong yourself is using pill, condoms or other accurate methods,
so called "natural planning" has like 50% failure and in some reserches even 90% so i can tell you that it is almost the same safe as before, during and after period:)

have a nice sex :)

no, and no. You are most likely to get pregnant 14 days from the first day of your period. Always use protection if you aren't ready to be a parent yet.

Are you taking a birth control (pill) (?)
I would worry that the exercise might make spots on the bed (?)
Have a towel ready or baby wipes, maybe a shower or bath.
