Yeah I do think that is a good idea ...a place where aliens can stop over while visiting earth. As for where it should be, I think all the nations should vote and choose the most suitable location. Or maybe it should be on a rotational basis.
NYC already seems to be the capital of the world though...

No. Furthermore, I believe the U.N. has devolved into a corrupt self serving agency. Mr. Annon is the worst Sec. Gen I have seen since I started paying attention to politics and world affairs back in 1982. If he has done anything to help the blighted third world nations of Africa and elsewhere,it certainly hasn't been trumpeted about by the liberal press. If you have any specific details, I would certainly like to know.

Great Question, but alack the world can't agree on feeding itself yet. Like the President of the USA, when we do have a Capital of the World it should change every four years

We would only need a capital of the world if we needed somewhere to have representatives on our behalf for the benifit of other planets. That is what we use our capital cities for on a smaller scale. Perhaps an idea for 3006AD, eh?

I don't agree especially if it is in the United States. You people haven't done anything right in the past 300 years except write the Bill of Rights which is completely irrelevant as it has been squashed by The Patriot Act.

And NO, Not until we make contact officially with other life forms from distant galaxies at least.

No, because you need the world to agree on one place and that could never happen. And besides, we would only need a capitol of the world if there was life on other planets. Also, if we had a capitol of the world, then we'd also need somebody to be in charge, which would never happen.

I dont know if I agree that there should, but I just wanted to take issue with Leogirl0804- Americans speak ENGLISH, (all be it with regional and cultural variations, slang and different spellings!)
I love London, no other city comes close in my opinion.
