First you could increase the amount of gas that is going into the engine. This could be done by re-jetting the carbs or purchasing an air/fuel reg for fuel injectors. Another way is try another final gear ratio. Example; Change your ear sprocket from a 48 tooth to ta 52 tooth. Even thou the gear ration is lower, the engine will increase its RPMs easier, thus increasing your speed

In case you don't understand gear setup or gear ratio. They're saying to install a smaller R sprocket or larger F sprocket.

Get your gear ratio's changed. You can make it so that you gears have faster accel. or faster top speed. Up to you. However you didn't really specify anything about your question so...

changing the ratio would work if the bike has enough power to pull it. Otherwise youll also have to make modifications either motorwise or aerodynamically.
