The most memorible would have to be the first. The first concert I went to was In the late 70's. My friend was in a band and had got back stage passes and front row seats to see them. It was before any one knew who they really were. Of course we were able to enter the same way they did and go in the dressing rooms.Anyway, when the concert started, there was a large cage around the stage to keep fans away, Gene jumped from the stage to the fence , climbed to the top and acted like he was going to come over after me. He stuck his bloody tongue out at me. Scared the you know what outta me.
The best however, was in Dec. 2005, The BigBad Voodoo Daddie, WOW!!!!!

The best live performance I saw by a group was by Prodigy on Hastings Pier, East Sussex, UK (5 minutes walk from my house)
It wasn't really a concert; there were no more than a couple of thousand people there. It was in October 1991, one of the best years ever for raves.
I was high on ecstasy at the time. I'm talking proper ecstasy, not the cut-up, mixed-up, weak strength stuff that is sold these days. These were home-made pills containing MDMA, speed, cocaine, and a quarter of a acid tab.
By the time Prodigy came on, I was pretty wasted. This was before they gained international fame, and back then they were really really into what they were doing. I was stood right at the front, and shook hands with Keith Flint while he was performing.
After Prodigy, came Carl Cox, and Ratpack.
One of the best nights out I've ever had in my life. My ears were ringing for 3 days.

I saw April Wine at the Spectrum in Montreal. They played all of their good songs plus a few obscure ones I had never heard. And I was right out in front, so that made it the best I'd ever seen. Then I'd have to say the Van Halen concert in 1986 and the Who in 1996, both in Mtl, are close seconds.

Sadly....Hilary Duff. Its not my fault, I was forced to go!!! And I know its the only concert I've gone to, but every time a good band comes to the city, no more tickets....or its an 18+ place they are doing their concert at. I tried to fall asleep at the concert, but i couldn't. There was this little girl at the concert also that was singing pretty much every word to every song, the scary thing was that she was worse than Hilary Duff. Anyway, Hilary Duff was lip singing anyway, it was a bit obvious, her voice was different when she talked than when she sang.
Thank God I will never go to a bad concert again by someone I hate. Even if I was gonna be forced to go, I can be stuborn.

The best concert i have ever been too was an Opeth, Devin townsend band, and dark tranquility concert. Because i like all three of those bands and it is difficult to go to a concert where i like all of the bands. And because it was a small venue we were very close to the band. I also got to go with it with a friend i rarely get to see and i was able to spend some time with him and catch up.

James Taylor concert.
I was a single mom of 7 kids... and after several years of divorce, decided to finally date again. I didn't know how to meet guys outside of a bar (not for me) so I tried some internet dating sites. For two and a half YEARS I dated on and off, getting more and more discouraged that no relationship lasted longer than a few months.
Finally I met this guy when I was totally discouraged. He didn't seem at all like my type... he was sort of a country mountain guy... a real regular Joe... and I was really more interested in the intellectual nerdball types... but I figured "what the heck?" I talked with him a while.
I'd gotten so discouraged at trying to list criteria for guys to date... finally I'd decided that I would only date a guy who could finish these lyrics correctly: "There's something in the way she moves...."
Every other guy kept finishing with the Beatles lyrics: "attracts me like no other lover" and thought they were smart.
This guy finished them with the song that I think describes what every man should be looking for in a woman: "There's something in the way she moves... or looks my way or calls my name... that seems to leave this troubled world behind..."
James Taylor lyrics.
So about two weeks later, on our third date, he'd gotten last minute tickets to a James Taylor concert... VIP seating... and the first song played was that one. I cried. That was just over three years ago and we just got married this past February. He still sings the lyrics to me when we play the song and dance in the living room. The kids still all say "ew...." :)

I've seen the J. Geils band at least a dozen times and feel they are the all time best party band ever.
The influences of muddy waters, rhythm and blues with rock have combined with J. Giels band being the best I've ever seen.
Peter Wolf puts out 110% on stage and leaves you wanting more.
The next best I think would be Motley Crue or Rush.

Clash of the Titans Tour in 1991. Had some of my favorite bands, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, and Alice in Chains. And it was my first outdoor concert, have been to many Ozzfests and they did not compare to this concert.

Lollapalooza 1996...one of the most amazing lineups I've ever seen...I wanted to go to see the Ramones on the last tour...but the rest of the acts...well: Rancid, very early on...Wu-Tang Clan, who tore down the house...Soundgarten (never a fan, but certainly worth seeing if you were there)...and Metallica...plus I think it was Psychotica as an opening act...but a great day/night...cool crowd (saw it in New York at Downing Stadium)...won't ever forget that one...
