I think the question should read, In an uninhabited forest does a falling tree make any sound. Which is a typical Zen question and probably requires a Zen master to answer fully.

Yes, though it may not seem that the sound it THAT loud it can be heard at an extraordinary large radius due to the fact that in the forest there is great silence and the branches of the tree get mixed together with the nearby trees and break all one after another...

Do you mean;
If a tree falls an a forest, and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?

The answer is no. Sound is a subjective experience, the brain's interpretation of the pressure waves in the air, created by the tree's impact, on the eardrums. So if no sentient being is there to hear it, there is no sound. Only waves of air pressure.

Only if they're there. If not the tree still makes a sound as all sounds are caused by the vibration of sound waves through the air. If, for example you had recording equipment there it would still pick up the sound even without the presence of humans. Also wherever you are on earth there is always something living nearby whether it be an animal, insect or fish so one of them would hear it wouldn't they?

Depends on whether anyone is within hearing distance of the sound waves and whether they are deaf. I wouldn't hear a tree fall in another state, but I would if one fell within 300 or so feet of me.

Last longer,
And makes such a noice,
Like a bomb voice.

Don't cry, be happy, the life is in front of you!
You are a human being, and we, humans love one another, even sometimes, some don't beleve. Pray at our Lord and His Holly Mother!!!

I hate this question because how can anyone NOT be there to NOT hear it and know that it doesn't make a sound? It's stupid.

if someone is withen hearing range, and they CAN hear (are not deaf) then yes. Now if it makes a SOUND when no one hears it is an entrirely different question :)
