Log onto tsa.gov - this website will give you answers to your questions. Also check your airline's website but the tsa is the way to go - if you still have doubts - check it in - do not carry it on. Good Luck.

You can not take.
1. Hand guns or automatic weapons.
2. Swords or flick knives.
3. Livestock.
You can take.
1 Cheese sandwiches.
2.Jaffa Cakes.
3. The Beano Annual.

Check the airport/airline website. Very basic still but you can take a mobile now, no make up and alot of people are having to dump their stuff at the airport so make sure you get the right info.

Liquids, gels, toothpaste etc ...
Your hand luggage also needs to be under a certain size - this is
45cm x 35cm x 16cm

with all the extra security at the mo...no hand luggage allowed at all..hey you not read the news even mothers have to eat/drink their babies food in front of security!!
