Of course its illegal to sell CDs that you burned. Its illegal to download music from Limewire in the first place.
If the government find out, they'll make you pay a fine as a punishment.

Its legal to burn CDs for your own personal use but is VERY ILLEGAL to sell them!
The legality of free downloads from Limewire or similar music downloading sites is questionable. The laws change all the time regarding this.

Yes it's illegal. Unethical too.
An appropriate punishment would be listening to one song from you CD you sold for 48 hours straight. Over and over and over.
