Tough question. But GWBush is the man with his finger hovering over the button. So tough titty.

No. Quite definitely; weapons of mass destruction should not be allowed to anyone; not even America. These weapons kill people, regardless of the identity and threat imposed. As such these weapons, or the threat imposed by them, are used only to change or control other societies or nations. The basis of democracy is that we all have the right to choose our government from the people who are to be governed!

No. I do not think that GWB should be able to push the button, but I am not sure that I would want to trust anyone else, either!

America is the only country in the world with a history of using nuclear weapons (WW2)so they are certainly evil eneough to to use them again, especially with a madman like Bush in control.I have nothing against Americans, but their foreign policies suck.

People need to realise that US foreign policy is naked self interest. They tried to pretend that they were against colonialism, but it was only because it presented them with competing power blocks. US hegemony is colonialism by another name.
They should certainly now give up 99% of their nuclear arsenal.
Dubbya is clearly not safe with his finger on the button. A more rational and balanced (and better advised) person is desperately needed.

I don't think any country should have nuclear energy or weapons but its to late for that. I'm not happy about the Bushman having control of the button but I would rather him than Iran

You've got to be joking ... on both counts. America would be one of the countries that anyone could trust not to push the button.

Alex, how do you propose that we rid the world of weapons of mass destruction, you dumb ***? They're here, but even if they weren't there'd always be research into how to make them available.

yes and yes.

Really not worried about this one - as soon as he is told to push the button he will set his microwave oven off or something.

"George - Iraq have just launched tactical weapons - shall we counter act?"

"Err yeah - let me just push the button - why did the TV just go off?"

Your question shows that you do not understand humans. Remember Darwin, the survival of the fittest. We are the most dominant military power out there. We dictate what we have and do not have. If we want nukes, we will. Someone must remove them from us. Not going to happen.
