How can people sit there and say Bush causes anti-americanism when Europe has had an anti-american problem for years and years before Bush. But now Bush, god forbid, takes on iraq and now all of a sudden they (european) care about the iraqi people. its funny how they could care less about them when saddam was in charge. Actually Euro leaders liked the guy.

People can't handle the truth. Bush was brave, unlike cowardly Clinton who gave China Nucleur technology, and bush's cowarldy father. Face it, Bush Jr. has been one of the best presidents recently.

And anyone with a smart mind knows that the war was not about oil. If we wanted oil why didn't we invade mexico? or canada? nevermnd the fact US has oil in its own borders.

You have not stated why America is in Iraq? It is difficult to answer specifics with generalities; nor can we use generalities to define specifics. Europe should care about the Iraqis as the American invasion-upon what appears
to have been a lie- has caused approximately 43,000 civilian deaths and
nearing 3,000 US dead military.

Consider this, Clinton impeached for lying about sex. Bush lied about the
invasion of Iraq. Is this not impeachable? Not only europe, but I have a problem with this.

From 1934 to October 1941 The New York Times published what was happening in Germany, inclusive of the Final Solution: "Nazis Seek to Rid Europe of All Jews." America did little until forced.

Does America share a responsibility in 6,000,000 deaths for not acting
when it should have? And now, 40+ thousand Iraqis dead for the US invading when questionable, and reasons unsabstantiated. I have lived
in five countries. The World considers Americans ignorant and arrogant.
But then we cannot apply generalities to specifics, can we?

This is only to say, "Stop, let us think this through. Read, reflect, and keep an open mind.

"And anyone with a smart mind knows that the war was not about oil"
Then, what is the war about?

"America will never be destroyed from the outside.
If we falter and lose our freedoms,
it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
--Abraham Lincoln [1832]

What about the fatc that the American oil is either running out fast or under protected land and that Iraq has the 2nd biggest oil supply in the world and that it was sooooo easy for Bush to invade Iraq with the history of brutal dictatorship and that of Iraqi-American relations and lies about terrorist aid and WMDs.

Also the fact that a huge amount of senior people in the Bush administration had shares in Haliburton which the American government sold the rights to, to extract the Iraqi oil and sell it, profitting the company, and its shareholders immensely, just like it would have done if daddy Bush had been succesful the first time round.

Open your f***ing eyes man.

surely a shortage of gunpowder. The defenders had the long rifle and the Mexican military could no longer get close they used the previous napoleon weapons that have been precise approximately ninety yards. So the defenders in simple terms sat back and picked them off. now the bombings ought to have made a distinction and finally attrition might have set in whether it grow to be loss of gun powder and then the numbers took over. stressful to combat off 40 two to a million numbers in hand handy wrestle no count how mig you're. Have a great decade!

You are soo far out of the mainstream I don't think I can reasonably answer you. If you would take your head out from under that rock now and then, you'll realize what the rest of the American population is realizing. Bush is a war mongerer. He must go.

It think other counties are anti-American because it is a bandwagon thing. You can't tell me that the French aren't secretly glad America and England are in Iraq. They don't want to have to deal with the issue of the Middle East later. And, you are totally right about the oil thing. If that's what we really wanted we would have already taken it, and gas proces would be a $1.

ALLOW ME TO GIVE YOU A BRIEF HISTORY LESSON. WHEN SADDAM WAS IN HIS EARLY 20's, THE CIA RECRUITED HIM TO CARRY OUT THEIR PLANS IN IRAQ. AFTER HE CARRIED OUT THE ORDERS OF THE CIA, HE WAS FORGOTTEN BY THEM AND SENT TO PRISON BY THE IRAQI GOVERNMENT. IN 1967, WHEN IT LOOKED LIKE IRAQ WAS GOING TO BECOME A COMMUNIST COUNTRY, PRESIDENT JOHNSON REMEMBERED SADDAM AND WITH THE HELP OF THE CIA, SADDAM BECAME PRESIDENT OF IRAQ IN 1979. THANKS TO DONALD RUMSFELD, A BACK DOOR WAS CREATED FOR ILLEGAL WEAPON SALES AND WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION (ANTHRAX, BOTULISM, E COLI, SALMONELLA, AND OTHER BIOLOGICAL AGENTS). IN SHORT, SADDAM RECEIVED FROM THE US GOVERNMENT THE VERY WEAPONS THAT THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION ACCUSED HIM OF HAVING. AND YOU SAY IT WASN'T ABOUT THE OIL! PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME, IF YOU CAN, WHY THE US HASN'T SHOWN AS MUCH INTEREST IN AFRICA AS IT HAS IN THE MIDDLE EAST. I'LL TELL YOU WHY: IT'S THE OIL AND ALL THE OTHER RESOURCES THAT AFRICA DOES NOT HAVE. THE US, BRITAIN, FRANCE, AND OTHER COUNTRIES WILL NEVER LIFT A SINCERE FINGER TO HELP ANYONE UNLESS THERE IS SOMETHING IN IT FOR THEM. THIS IS THE SAD BUT HONEST TRUTH.

If "Europe has had an anti-american problem for years and years", the problem wasn't so deep.

With Bush, Europe is DEEPLY anti-american.

Think you've got it wrong; most europeans are not anti-american (they may be a little jealous, though), nor do they think we are in Iraq for oil.
