If you are breathing normally (even if you can't breathe through your nose) and you do not have a fever, it should not be a problem. Most of the time a small head cold will not affect surgical procedures. They will have you breathing through a tube while you are asleep anyhow, so it does not matter if you have nasal congestion. You may feel more crummy after surgery, but you may be all conked out on pain medicine anyway, and not really notice it.

NO No No
The Dr won't let you and Don't you lie .
You want to be 100% mentally and physically.
That desperation! You admit that to your Dr's!!!!
I hear this hurts. Follow all the instructions and have a close family (friend) member with you to help you remember details even write them down or ask qusetions you didn't think of.
Good luck! My prayers for you. Speedy recovery.

I don't think it will be a major problem. Inform your nurse prior to surgery tomorrow. It is up to your doctor to make the decision for you.
