i had sex with my bf 6 days ago with a condom. THe condom did not break and it was brand new, we bought it that day. However, I now have a brownish discharge and a tiny bit of cramps. I'm worried it could be implantation bleeding or an early miscarriage. It's been about 2 and a half weeks since the beginning of my last period. any help would be appreciated, i pray to God I'm not pregnant.

its more likely to be a cervical erosion, but you should go to see your doctor
Cervivcal erosion is when active sex - maybe a new position or extra deep penetration bumps against the cervix which is at the top of your vagina/entrance to the womb, making a little sore spot that later bleeds away, and it will heal well if you don't be too rough next time too! its a little brownish as it doesn gush with blood immediately, Cramping is natural as the cervix is the external part of the womb.
nothing to do with infectious diseases or cancer, just your cervix being a little overwhelmed. See you doctor to be assured its ok

It sounds to me like implantation bleeding. I had this happen a about a week after I was supposed to ovulate and it was very light and brown. Never in my life had I gotten my period that early, so I was pretty sure that wasn't what it was. I was right! About a week later I got a positive pregnancy test. (By the way, it's normal to have some cramping in early pregnancy too. I remember cramping so badly that I thought for sure my period was coming. It never did.) However, if it's very heavy then it could be something else. I would wait and take a pregnancy test or if it gets really painful and/or heavy, go to the emergency room. Good luck!

Some women experience mid-cycle spotting. This is most likely what it is. Often at the beginning or end of your period the dischrage is brownish in color, which is perfectly normal. Sex can stimulate mid-cycle spotting or it can casue your period to start alittle early. If the condom did not break you have a very low chance that you could be pregnant. Don't worry, just wait for your next period and you'll see everything is ok. If your next period is more the 5 days late, then you should take a pregnancy test.

It's very possible you are pregnant. Ovulation begins roughly two weeks after the start of your last period, not two weeks from the end like most women believe. If your period doesn't start within a week, take a pregnancy test. If you take it too soon, it will be inaccurate, even the ones that are made for early testing. If you can't afford to see a doctor, go to Planned Parenthood. They do a wonderful job.
Hope all is well,
Rivka

I would guess that you're probably not pregnant. The reason being that you had your period only 2 1/2 weeks ago. If you only had sex 6 days ago, most likely you hadn't even ovulated yet. It's possible that you are ovulating now, and this is the discharge you are seeing. Minor cramps sometimes accompany ovulation, but I'm not sure about the brownish color. Call your doctor to be sure. Good Luck!

going thru 2 miscarriages in the past, a miscarriage would appear in rich red blood, not in brown (old) blood, also a miscarriage is heavier and a few days longer than a normal period.
Next time you have intercourse check your undies or tissue after you go to the restroom, if you see tiny spots of blood, call and set up an appt with your ob/gyn

The only way you are going to know is if you take a pregnancy test and/or go see your gyn.

you might have bacterial vaginosis. I wouldn't worry about the pg thing in your case. You might want to call a doctor or just talk to a nurse just in case.
