Divide XII (roman for 12)

in half and get

VII (seven)

12 = X11
Strike a line horizontally through the middle of X11 to give:
v11
----
^11
The top half becomes V11 which = 7
Therefore half of X11(12) is V11 (7)

by adding one to half of 12? ? ? or you could remove the one from the 12 and the bottom of the 2 n it kinda looks like a seven ?

using roman numerals, 12 in roman numeral is XII, if U chop it in half with a horizontal line U get VII, with is seven in roman numerals

If you divide it is half you get six but you can split it into 7 and 5 but it isn't half.
