I recently watched the PBS special on the Kingston Trio. They showed the group (during John Stewart's tenure) performing a medley of two songs. Either one or both of the songs had "rambling" or "train" in the lyrics. For further help, the medley reminded me of the song "Midnight Train" by the Monkees. What are the names of these two songs in the medley? I already downloaded the song "My Ramblin' Boy" and that wasn't it! Any help is surely appreciated.

The song with the train had to be "The man who lnever returned" He was on the "MTA" and didn't have the fare to get off!! Or could be "This Train" don't carry no gamblers or ramblers. Hope this helpa a little. It has been a long time since I have heard them..

Was it something like:
"If you miss the train I'm on"? that one is from "500 Miles".

I'm not an expert on KT, though.
