I have what I call a foundation as far as my faith system is concerned, but I don't believe in absolute certainties. To me, faith is a growing process, a continuous learning process, so changes will occur to my belief system as I go through life. So it's not about loyality, it's more about being open-minded and willing to learn different things.

This is why people should use spirituality all the time. It's not the same as religion; because religion has it set ways and you must follow them even if find some of them wrong.
If you find something wrong in your beliefs or the times changed it into wrong; then, you can and you should change it.
This is what spirituality is for. It deals with taking the things you learned-even from religion, figuring out which of those things your spirit feels are good and true, then you use those things to build a way of life for yourself.
Changing something that you feel is wrong is not disloyal. It is holding to what your spirit believes, and that is good.

I am loyal to my faith, if I don't understand or have doubts about a principle or doctrine of my faith... I read, inform my self, ask, but very specially I pray, so God and only Him through His Holy Spirit can guide my thoughts and his conclusions. I ask Him for wisdom, He is the only one allowed to make a change of heart in me.

Maturity works wonders. Once you realize that you don't have the answers, you are no longer blind. As far as faith and principals, I consider them a work in progress. Hopefully, as I grow as a person, I will tweak them as more data is used to analyze their functionality.

If your beliefs are intact .. then it shouldn't be something that changes. I know that I am concrete in my beliefs and no matter what the media or personal experiences say or express.. I'm a Christian.. born again.. living again. Your faiths and beliefs shouldn't be something that is easily exchangeable.. if it is.. you're lost.

i am loyal to my faith and beliefs. if my choice of a
place of worship has beliefs that don't agree with mine,
or if my own study and personal growth bring me to a
different understanding i would have no problem changing
to a different place of worship. my faith and my beliefs
are given to me by God, and are subject to growth, but
i will not change them to fit someone else's understanding.

You mean principle? Sometimes, I have to bend my beliefs to accommodate other people's ideas. And it's a matter of attitude, actually.
