The best time during your cycle to get pregnant is when you're ovulating. There's several ways to figure out when you're ovulating.
1) charting basal temperature using a basal thermometer (pharmacies or Walmart). You take your temp 1st thing every morning, before you even get up, and chart it. After a couple months, you can see at what point in your cycle you ovulate and you can time it during that time.
2) ovulation kits - these expensive kits are rather like taking a pregnancy test. You pee on a stick and it'll tell you the day before you ovulate by measuring your hormones, so you can plan on sex for the the next couple of days.
3) watching cervical mucuous - which changes to an egg white color and consistency when you're most fertile.
