There is that possibility IF the Constitution is ammended.
I have actually worried about that, being a Californian, a Republican, and not ever wanting him to have the chance to be President from what I see here. He likes the power trip and thinking that he can follow Ronald Reagan's career path or something. My opinion: Basically, a person who is not born and raised in the USA doesn't REALLY have their whole heart here like it should be for a President of the US.

The Constitution requires that a candidate for the presidency must be a "natural-born" citizen of the United States, at least 35 years of age, and a resident of the United States for at least 14 years.

no he can't. To be the president of the united states you have to be 35 a citizen and born in the USA. I think one of the newer laws is that you have to have served in the military.

You have to be a natural born citizen to become President and they will not change the constitution in our lifetime. So therefor thank goodness he will never become President.

no, and with everything this country stands for, the men and women patriots who gave their lives to protect our freedoms I pray there are a few patriotic politicians left that will block any attempt to alter or amend our constitution to allow a foreigner to become president, especially anyone as self absorbed and gluttonously greedy as Arnold Schwarzenegger, God Save Us as a country.

All these answers about how the law stands now. Humph! You gotta KNOW that if the people who are really in charge of this planet *want* him to be president they will do whatever is necessary for it to be so.
Haven't we already learned that from the GwB atrocity? HELLO!?
