not all men.....just some. women can be that way too. depends on the person's heart....sometimes you are just hurt or damaged in some way....and you're just plain tired.
in a relationship, your heart must be there. you need to know each others heart and soul....be able to get real deep. if you're deep and your heart is in it....its more likely that you work the problems out. some people do not understand what true love is. other people has been hurt somehow, so bad, they don't want to feel anymore. the point is....look in the heart.
I'm a man....the reason why I did not desire to work out my relationship with my wife....was because she hurt me so bad. I stayed away.....avoided her....because of what she'd say to me. some women do not understand men and why they act the way they do. it drives the hurt deeper til you're just damaged in heart. we're divorced now and it was best for me and her.
in a relationship you need to build one another up....not get torn down. if a woman can love me truly and sincerely....understand me....and truly be there....I would try.
but.....with other men, it depends on their heart. a lot of different issues can cause a man to not desire to work out a relationship....sometimes its a personal thing.
peace.

First of all, some men do. Some don't. In some cases, the men want to, and the women don't. But when men are convinced that they're right or that a relationship is right, they don't want to end it, nor should they. When they think a relationship is wrong, they see no reason to continue it. It don't matter what the women think. That's how some men think. Plus the fact, that some (yes I mean some, not all!) women are too presumptious and don't really know what they want to do or not do. They only know what their selfish family wants.

Some men do want to work out relatonships. I think it takes a level of maturity that the men you are referring to apparently don't have.

Because men are unimpressed with the absurd notion that if you talk about something long enough it can be solved by so much talk.
Human being are of virtually infinite complexity, we don't know each other as well as we think we do (see La Rochefoucaul'd long, brillian maxim on Self-love), so we don't know what we're talking about when we "talk out" a "relationship."
To men, such touchy-feely "holistic" discussions are precious, circular, and irrational.

Because its really not supposed to require working out. Yes you have to work ON marriage but trying to fix things early falls into the high maintenance category. Oft time its not worth the effort. See-Ya..
