My first pregnancy was not that bad. I did not start contracting hard until after they gave me the epidural (pain medication). The second pregnancy was pretty tough. I was fighting contractions while they were trying to get the epidural in before I had dilated too far.
The second go round I ended up with a C-Section. I know it is major surgery, but it is better than going through the really bad contractions. If you ever have a choice, opt for pain medication or an epidural. Just make sure you get it early on, or it will be bad.
The experience is a painful one, but a beautiful one also.

Yes, it really does hurt. Are you pregnant? I had an epidural with my first son so it didn't really hurt until they turned it off for me to push. With my second son, I had him natural and that pain was excruciating!!! The contractions hurt and delivering hurts even more. I've never felt anything that even compares to childbirth. Then in the morning after, you get to feel even more pain. It hurts just to sit up or go to the bathroom. You are very sore for a few days. But it is all worth it when you look at your beautiful baby's face.

It does hurt alot that is why they give you an epidural. You just have to hope it doesn't wear off before it is time to push. If it does you are going to feel all of the pain of childbirth. Some women do this naturally through midwives.

I was terrified, but I had an epidural, and had a great experience. It did not hurt much at all. The hardest part for me was the recovery, I had a few stitches, and I was pretty sore afterwards. But...it only lasted for like 3 or 4 days.

You know how doctors in emergency rooms ask you what level your pain is at? Well if you say you don't know they tell you to think of 10 being the worst pain and 1 being the lowest, if you still can't answer they ask you to think of 10 as being childbirth. Yes, of course it hurts, you have something the size of a watermelon being pushed through something the size of a quarter.

This has extra to do with the reality that the yankee human beings often look becoming to be extra slovenly. a woman who has that many demands on her has a minimum of a few excuse to placed on a ponytail and sweats. i do no longer do it yet I are conscious of it extra beneficial than say, single females interior the industry donning mattress room slippers and pajama pants. Gross. Even youth do it here. adult men are by using no potential off the hook. they are getting basically as fat as different human beings all the jointly as complaining approximately fat American females. Hair ungroomed, unequalled outfits. Pants that sag right down to the knees. I see extra clarification for a woman who has basically spent all morning getting toddlers waiting for college and somewhat has time to snatch a ten minute bathe for herself to dress like that than every physique else.

oh yeah it hurts esp when they are too late and you can't get any meds or epidural then when you are pushing you tear, but in the end it is all worth it. the pain only last for a bit of time. I think the contractions actually hurt more for me and pushing until her head came out.

I'm not gonna lie. It hurts. But you can get drugs-including epidural - that help a lot. After it is all over and you have your baby.... you forget about the pain.
