If the occasion calls for it, I hope I would be willing to die for Jesus Christ, my wife, children and others. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13 The Holy Bible.

I first was asked this as an assignment in nursing. That's a difficult question. Self preservation is the strongest instinct. Although no one really knows what he/she would have the courage to die for, I would hope I would have the courage to die for my belief in God and Jesus and to prevent the death of some one I love. When it comes right down to agreeing to die, and not just talking about it is a safe environment, it would be entirely different. I have asked myself that question many times since I had that assignment many years ago.

If I could save my family, or any innocent, I would die. For example, think how many innocent people died in 9/11. Now look at all the people who actually saved lives and gave their own by taking down the plane. That was worth it.

For the past three years, or three years ago, I was like 11, and was technically baptist because my grandparents took me to their church. I was young, and followed, and got saved, but not baptised. I became really really afraid of death, not just death, mainly the afterlife, and I think it was ETERNITY that scared that crap outta me. I stopped going to church and now just try not to think about death.
I thought I'd never be able to tell someone I would honestly die for them, I just hoped I'd never have to face the decision.
But my best friend told me she'd die for me once, and I decided, as far as I concerned myself with it, that I would die for her as well. I think, yes, I would die for my best friends.
I would also like to think I could do such a selfless act for a stranger, or anyone really.

I would die for my family.....and when I have children I would die for them in a heart beat. But hopefully that circumstance never arises.

probably in order to protect people I love. Maybe 16 or 20 people only. It would depend on circumstances.

Dying isn't a voluntary act. It is simply somethig that will come to us sooner or later.
(Even those who have taken their own lives didn't choose to die, but they simply chose not to suffer anymore in this life).
