I do not want to go to the doctor, I find them way too embarassing. How can I remove them myself.

I know of people who use brand new, sharp, sterile nail clippers to do the job. I myself am too squeamish and afraid of infection so I go to the doc who removes them in like 2 minutes and it's no big deal...they do it all the time. Get over your fear of the doc. You are a woman and it's important to have a good relationship with your doc and have regular checkups.

Wart remover will not work. The most efficiant way sorry to say is a quick trip to the Dr's office. If they're not very big you may not even need stitches just a band aide. It's tough having skin tags in the summer when you want to bare all. Get to the Dr!

Skin tags are mostly thin and long. I know several people that have gotten rid of them by tying a string around them tight enough to cut off the blood supply. They fell off in a couple of days.

My mom uses a piece of thread and ties it around them...she said they will fall off on their own in a couple days due to lack of blood supply. Gross, I know, but she claims it works.
I've never given it a try but if you are determined to do a home remedy go for it!

I used to tear them off by pinching them bteween my nails. Use alcohol or hydrogen peroxide afterwards, so you don't get an infection.

Dr's use sterile scissors with no novacaine. If you are brave - go for it.
