Sometimes they feel like it's useless. You will never love him or trust him again. So why try? Not to mention thoughts on counseling and all of that. However the above write was correct when he said that if he really wants you he will fight for it in his own way. If he doesn't want you, move on in the best way you can. Take steps to make your life one that does not include him.

I think its because they are not ruled by emotion.My dad always said that if it is a man on the begging end,he ALWAYS has a chance.But if its the woman,she hasn't a snowballs chance in hell.Most of the time when a guy isn't willing to work on a relationship,its because he already has his sights on someone else or is already involved with someone else.We women try to weigh the pros and cons of our relationships before we make any drastic changes.Men on the other hand choose to leave first,and ask questions later(after what they left you for,proves to have been the wrong thing to do).Then they beg,we take them back and they do it again....and so the cycle continues.

not all are like that,if they love you and want to be with ya they will.some are just after a short term thing.others are scared to commit.if youve been hurt trust me one day your gonna find the right guy who will do any thing to keep u happy and wont give up on the ist hurdle

If I feel my girlfriend or wife lied over an over to me or betrayed me or cheated on me. Whats the point in trying to save what has already failed?
Trust is earned and in some cases given when that's abused its very hard to ever earn it back....

Because they haven't found what they want.If a man truly is interested he will fight for it.
