An alien is anyone who has come to a place from somewhere else. Illegal aliens are always in the news and they are described as aliens because they come from another country into the USA, not because they are from "outer space." If you are an American, British, or Japanese citizen and you are in Italy, then you are alien to Italy, just as a person from Italy would be alien to Greenland or Australia, etc

Girl, are you for real? I think "alians" come from outer space. Depending upon what country you are from, an alien is somebody who wasn't born in your country and who is not a citizen of your country and he, she or it can either be a legal alien with a green card or an illegal alien. What do you mean by "or something." No an alien cannot be a bear........

sure. Anyone who is in a country which is not their own is an alien in that country (some are legal and some are illegal).
