i am more than ashamed how uncivilized the human race can be when it comes to defend one's values. we all come from different places and realities, we all have our own point of views - but, unfortunately, we all forget that those point of views are our own and not THE truth, THE answer or THE way!!!

i'm not a saint i know and i felt ashamed about my barbarian way to defend italy as well, it's not easy to preach water and drink it all the time, sometimes my southern temper lets me forget about my liberal character and i start drinking wine, while i still preach water... but, in the end, we should all be flexible enough to communicate in a way that fits to the context as well. this is a place where people should share their values and thoughts and should be respectful with the others. i would have never thought how rude we all can be!!! this is not about italy vs. germany or italy vs. france or zidane vs. materazzi. i guess the whole thing is a lesson for all of us: we should learn about ourselves how we solve conflicts when it comes to our values. and the way they were solved here shows that after all we have erased thousands of years of evolution and are stuck in stone age, where people used to defend themselves by fighting against eachother...

peace and love to everyone!!!!

Ciao Dolcissimo....I totally agree with you but unfortunately you're wasting your time and breath. I have never seen a bunch of sore losers in my entire life. I remember when Italy lost against Brazil in 1994 with a penalty shot that Roby Baggio missed and yet life went on for me..I'm still here..LOL...these people just can't get over it and the insulting keeps getting worse..Anyways thanks for all your support it's nice to know that good people still exist!

Forza Italia

Ah I agree with you Zizou rocks but, why don't you be the one to take the first step and not retaliate when Italian fans insult the French team?

To everyone else>
There are lots of bad apples amongst those who support their football teams and it takes only a few rotten apples to spoil the cart right? Racism seems to be a recurring thing in football. In the 80's and 90's it was most prevalent in English and German supporters (e.g. neonazi fans affiliated to groups such asCombat18, blood and Honour amd BNF) but now it has sppread to the other European leagues. Sad but true. ******* players are constantly being subjected to monkey noises, chants of e-bola, bananas thrown onto the pitch "n****r go home" etc. IF you don't believe me, refer to recent incidents such as Marco Zorro (Inter vs. Sienna) and Walter Samuel (Roma vs. Lazio)

However, this is not to say that all Italian supporters are racist because it is wrong to make such sweeping generalisations I am not Italian but I support by beloved Inter and by default the Italian national team. People like those idiots who racially abused zorro make me ashmed of being an Inter supporter (really). I have been to Italy and most of the people were nice, freindly and helpful (except that beggar lady who tried to pickpocket me)

I think everyone needs to remember whether a person is *******, Caucasoid, Asian, male, female, straight, gay or whatever, in the end, everybody is a human being and has feelings too. Race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual preferences has absolutely nothing to do with how one plays football. The beautiful game.

Peace and outties.

Every civil society has uncivilised people in it. Same here.

Just because a few idiots write drivel, doesn't mean everyone thinks the same way.

We may be the silent majority, but we are the Majority nonetheless.

Let not the rants of a very distinct minority, take away the joy of enjoying your team's ultimate success.

U hav gotta point. But still all this fight wont stop until the Italy fans stop insulting the French team and Zizou.

P.S. Juventina, we arent sore losers. We r just trying to make evryone understand that Italy's win was a play of luck rather than skills.Thats the truth and u goota accept it.We also try to defend the french team and players when some Italy fanatics like u insult them

We're not acting like we still were in 2006 BC. In 2006 BC, there weren't so many religious morons.
