Depends if you are confident in handling it - if you have someone to help you, one of you could use something long handled like a broom to gently nudge him out and the other could lay on the bed and then grab him when he comes out.
....or you could just wait it out a bit - he/she will come out eventually.....or you could give the RSPCA a call and ask for their advice.

Certainly put on protective clothing first before you try, apart from the mess pigeon poo contains bacteria that can be very virulent.

How about putting some pigeon feed down then when the pigeon is eating have big fishing net to the ready and swoop when the pigeon is distracted. Once caught put in a pillow case and take outside to remove. This way the pigeon will not get unduly stressed and hopefully the bedroom will be feather free.

Edit you would need to cover at least three corners of the bed so that the pigeon cannot escape whilst trying tp catch it. The open one will have you laying with fish net to the ready.

Go on you are trying to wind us up again you little imp of mischief you.

Vacuum cleaner, duh!!! Once its stuck in the suction of the vacuum, you can put it out the window and shut the vacuum off. If it flys back to under the bed then use a cat. That is your last resort because cats have a poison in their claws that is instant death to a bird. That's why cat scratched hurt so bad. Ever had cat scratch fever, I have. Its not just a song. So vacuum, and then cat as last resort. Good luck!!
