Yes, this is true.
We sometimes take felled trees for firewood if they are not too rotten. We are always careful to peel off the liberals as they inhibit combustion.
Someone needs to teach those fools to either learn some survival skills or stay the heck out of the woods.

We both know that the conservative would be blamed for cutting it down. The liberal wouldn't actually be hugging it, hugging is an action, liberals would be funding an independent investigation into the effects of hugging a tree.

You have the story mixed up. The way it actually happened was that both the Liberal hugging the tree and the Conservative up in the tree died instantly and the next President will be wiser for it!
