Hi LEVI is a boy name.. here're some information I get from www. behindthename.com just for you from me...

LEVI
Gender: Masculine

Usage: Biblical, Jewish, English

Other Scripts: לֵוִי (Hebrew)

Pronounced: LEE-vie [key]

Means "attached" in Hebrew. In the Old Testament Levi was the third son of Jacob and Leah, and the ancestor of one of the twelve tribes of the Israelites (the tribe that eventually became the priests of the Israelites). In the New Testament this is another name for the apostle Matthew.

Hopefully I cna help you.. happy choosing and take care...

Dee

I say levi sounds like a boy's name, but it would depend on what middle name you but it with as a girl's name. It really could work either way.

Definitely a boy's name, traditionally.

"Origin and Meaning of the Name Levi

The boy's name Levi is pronounced LEE-vye. It is of Hebrew origin, and its meaning is "joined." Biblical: Levi, third of Jacob's 12 sons, became father of the Levites tribe that was later assigned priestly duties. The name was revived by the Puritans."
