One charecter is a little boy, orphan now, he is about...8-10 i havn't decided, he is dark haired, and very serious(due to a hard life), are there names you know that are connected with winter and aren't girly? Then there is a girl charecter who is basicully the spoiled high-ranking lady for a while, she's frivolous and out-spoken, however she does turn into one of the good-guys...err, girl..... I believe those were the only two that i was having a writer's block on. So if anyone could give suggestions i'd be gratful.

Possible wintery names for the boy:
"Izotz" is a male name that means "Ice" in Basque.
"Edur" is a male name that means "Snow" in Basque.

I've always liked Sam (or Samantha), which could work for either character (though it has no connection to winter).

Really, though, picking names is a personal thing. I have no idea what you'd like, so I would recommend looking through some naming websites yourself until you find something you're happy with. A few good ones:

Or just do a search:

I sincerely wish you luck on story writing.
Spell-check each page, and have some human also look for spelling errors.

Names?
How about Melanie Blousfront for a well-built girl, or Natalie Attired for a well-dressed girl.
Then there's Dick Tugger,(works at a sperm bank) Joe Kerr (standup comedian), Rufus Leakin (shingle installer), Mark Cards (professional poker player), Phil Tanks (works at a petrol station).

Perhaps the orphan could be named Pat Ricide.

you could call the boy ''Samhuinn Gravis'' . Samhuinn is end of summer in Scottish Gaelic and Gravis is serious in Latin.
you could call the girl ''Vapida Emendo'' .Vapidus in Latin is spoiled and emendo is improve.

odd but meaningful.
