Look in your local phone book for scaffold rental places. Sometimes they sell off old stock at reduced prices. I picked up some this way for my contracting buss.

By the the time you have mucked around cutting out the old broken stuff you might as well get new ones, the company that i work for will sell a 13' board for around £8 to £10, but you are wanting old or recycled boards, unless a scaffolding company has got rid of a lot of boards to a reclamation yard they are normally burnt or cut up as we are not aloud to use damaged boards for health and safety purposes, i hope you find what you are looking for................

I don't know why a contracter would sell a used scaffold board. They are exspensive and will last forever if not abused. An OSHA approved scaffold board has no knots in it. You don't want to grab any old board and use it for scaffolding.
