I play games on yahoo a lot. Well, everytime I go into this, Java sends an error report and all my programs shut down. I removed Java, but I want to play games without any problems. What should I do? (if you can tell, i am illiterate with computers)

If the games you are playing require Java, then there is no alternative, you must have java installed. That being said, you may have just had a corrupt or outdated JVM (java virtual machine, a fancy name for Java). An easy fix would be to uninstall the version you have, which it sounds like you have already have done, and install a new version. You can get the latest version from here: http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
Java is a popular programming language create by a company called Sun. Downloading this and installing it may fix the errors you were receiving. Good luck.
