It probably does but I like to think as every year and every generation passes it lessens. We live in a different society now from our parents and our grandparents and we would like our children to live in a different society still. Life is changing, we are changing, hopefully for the better, we are moving on.

yes kind of how many british asians do you see at the senior postions of major businesses in the uk. in a bi racial relationship not as much this is more likely to be amongst asians themselves. i am an asian girl currently seeing a black guy and the looks i get from other asian people is disgusting. We are all human at the end of the day, the colour of his skin or mine is the only thing that is different. And if he makes me happy who are others to judge.

Im Asian...yes, i have witnessed it and lived it myself, it occurs everyday - especially in the work place, you will find that an employer will choose the white person over the British Asian...why? No reason!
And they say we live in a diverse society...pfft!!!
The prejudicism that we "are all terrorists" will unfortunately be never lived down due to some cracked up losers who, for some reason, think they represent the rest of us....THEY DONT

The BNP are definately as active as ever; although they claim not to be racist any more. They spread rumours which people fall for, such as 'They Banned The Flag', or 'We Can't Sing Baa Baa Black Sheep Any More'.
But none of the big companies I've worked for tolerate prejudice. Governement doesnt tolerate it. So I think its probably more on an individual level now rather than institutionalised.
And its definately rarer than in the '70's and '80's, its not just that people have learned to keep it quiet. But you get ignorant and intolerant people everywhere!

Personally I think prejudice in general still occurs. It does not necessarily have to be against British Asians and only the people who are prejudice know sure that they really are or not

of course it does........as it does with just plain british people. as a matter of fact, i was walking down tooting high street the other day and was looking in a restaurant window. it had an ad for a waiter/ress....underneath the first sentence it said "white people need not apply ".
I think all races can live together, but most of them don't want to.....of every race. Asians are NO different.

we don't, never have and never will 100% mix, sad fact, but true. And that goes all around the world, different creeds, colours and the main one, religions just don't inter grate well.
The prejudice is in many aspects directed at the "white" British now, too many do gooder laws that don't help anybody decent!

yes it does
under the smiles and sympthaic advice.
a white guy with less knowledge/talent/conviction would still be chosen over an asian.
asians don't do any favours to themselves by commiting frauds at different levels. honesty with consistancy is the long term answer to change perception
