I have a computer class this year in college and my teacher wants the actual address that takes us to CNN.COM but I cant for the life of me figure out what she is wanting since I just always type in CNN. I have been searching and have no idea where to find this, any help or ideas on HOW to search for this would be greatly appreciated!
Please dont respond with www.cnn.com this is not what I am looking for, I figured that one out myself.

If you do a simple ping you can get the IP that www.cnn.com resolves to.
Just right now that IP is [64.236.16.20].
Open up a dos prompt and just enter in: ping www.cnn.com
You can use that to find any current IP for a given DNS name.

Open command prompt, and type in Ping www.cnn.com
Mind you that IP addresses will vary since CNN is probably hosted by many different servers that contain the website contents. Impress your teacher with that information.
