Yes you can love someone and not like them. I have a grown child that I love with all my heart but I do not like her.
If she was just some woman in the neighborhood, she would definitely not be one of my friends.
I believe it is more a matter of not liking their ways, their attitudes, their personalities and so forth.

Only from a certain point of view, you can love someone but not love the things they do, maybe a side they have just for you, but you despise the way they lead their life seperatly to the love you have personally between the 2 of you.
Or you may love someone but they drive you up the wall, with things they do which cause the feelings of dislike.
But in truth, Love should not be that way, and if it is I am don't think that it is worth having, I am not even sure that it is real love.
Because if you trully love someone then, you love them as fully as you can, and accept the flaws as they accept yours.

Yes you can love some one and not like the things they do or how they act. You may truly love them but just don't agree with ow they are or the decisions they make. It can be difficult depending on what is going on. You need to think about what it is that they do or say that you don't like and if it something that can change or would you just have to learn to live with it. In that case you may not be able to do that and you may need to leave to be happy yourself or to make them realize they need to change or get help.

Yes you can be in love wih some one and not like them, just little stuff that they do continuosly piss you off, and has a tendency to make you dislike them. It could be constant nagging about something, or false accusations. When that begins to happen just know that your relationship is beginning to take a turn for the worse.

YES! Love is not logical; liking someone is. We CHOOSE who we like; we often can't help who we love. I love my husband, but I don't like him, and I really don't trust him. I wish to God I could stop loving him because I'm tired of being hurt. If there was a way to stop, I would. I've even thought of hypnotism.

I don't think you can be in love with someone and not like them. I think that you can love someone and not like them. It's rare that you ever lose complete love with someone but you can not like them. I'll always love my husband but there are time I dont like him. Some people change and there not the same, which you may not like the change but you still love them.

Yes, you can love someone, anyone, and not like them; or at least their attitude. You can live a lifetime with them and feel that way. Doesn't make sense, but it happens all the time.

You can be attracted to someone you don't like very much. That isn't the same as love. You can be "in lust" with someone you don't like or love.
But true love involves liking the person, and respecting them ... as well as being attracted to them.

I think it might be more that you don't like some of their behaviour but you still love them as a person and a mate. People are complex and not always consistent in how they act.

Yes you can ,Its like you don't like what they did because maybe it hurt you but you love them because at one point in time you this was your one . Love is blind you cant control the heart even if the person is not for you.
