I play an online game.Which is free and have an option of pay to play.and theres always someone who is victimized by a "keylogger"and i have always wondered...

Are they illegal to use if you steal someone gaming password?(not computer pass)

hi, keylogger is a disgusting and infamous virus. perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.

i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

No...the programs themselves are perfectly illegal. There isn't such thing as an "illegal" program. (Atlhough, Windows seems to commit plenty of "illegal operations".)

But, obviously, it is illegal to steal certain computer information, and fraud to use stolen credit card numbers, etc. Like, a knife isn't illegal...but using it to rob a bank is a crime.

The keylogger is legal, the method used with it, determines if it's legal or not....
