Are you calling your Nintendo DS fat, why would you need a Lite? I don't know, what are the benefits? Count your benefits and multiply by ten, if you don't get over a hundered not worth buying.

I don't know, the NDS Lite has a brighter backlit screen and is less compact but since the backlight is so bright, it must drain the battery faster resulting in multiple charging and higher energy bills and eventual deterioration of the battery.

Heh, I don't even own a nintendo product, but i'd say they are just both the same but one of them is just smaller in size!! And you can still play the same stuff on it too. You're just downsizing to something itzy bitzy!
