I think so because Freshman are younger and older kids like to pick on the younger kids because they think it's fun and quit funny to be mean to the Freshman. Also in my school the older kids in the 10th 11th and 12th graders make the Freshman run a mile and to the chicken dance which this year I have no clue what they are going to do to the Freshman which I'm a Freshman this year which sucks.

Well...yes and no. When I was a freshman, some of the grade 12's and 11's would think that they were so cool and they would think that they were the perfect adult. Really, when people do that, they are, of course, just plain stupid and bullies. Remember, bullies hate themselves, it's their own insecurities that is getting in the way. When someone is mean to you constantly, they are insecure about themselves or they are jealous of you. But, don't worry, most of this "minor niner" is just crap, it doesn't really happen anymore because security is higher these days.

As long as the freshman (im going into 9th grade too..) don't bug the sophmores, juniors, and seniors and aren't annoying to them, then the 10-12 graders usually won't be mean.

Yeah, they can be. Its usually nothing against you, but based on the rep of your entire class. Actually even if your class was decent, we'd still pick on you, just because your freshies. But dont take it personally, its tradition, and everyone gets **** for being a freshman. Just ignore it and have fun!

that depends. if u are one of those freshmen who thinks your all that and you have an attitude, im sure you will get some ppl who will be mean to u. Also if you act like a total freshmen (like getting lost all the time, acting all scared and wimpy) you will probably get a few mean comments. but keep in mind that upperclassmen just want to show off their new power, its nothing personal. but dont worry ur not going to get ur head shoved in a toilet or anythin like that

mostly the movies, just like everything else. they take real situations and exaggerate them 100 times. and no, not all freshmen have sex that is just in the movies as well
