I honestly don't feel sorry for him as much as I think he's been really stupid lately. He didn't take the guarenteed money that was offered to him. And like you said, he wasted his great talent. If he had waited 1-2 years before entering the draft, his story would be completely different. If he hadn't commited crimes his story would be different. Now he's apparently involved in a mafia? If he hadn't gotten involved with a mafia, well you get it by now.

Personally I feel sorry for anyone who is so screwed up in the head they're not smart enough to take the golden opportunities that come their way. Yeah, he made the choices and he's got to live with the consequences. Chances are that someday he'll look back on this and have a real crisis of heart, wondering how he could be so blind.

Maybe that's just me.

He had a great opportunity to really make something of himself and must be held accountable for making bad decisions. No I don't feel sorry for a man who had this great chance and decided to be a thug or criminal instead. It's really a shame and a disgrace.

I know I shouldn't but I still feel sorry for him - he's become such a pathetic spectacle that you can't help but wince when you hear about him.
