there are battered women's shelters that will help you with not only the finacial and physical, but the emotional as well. good luck to you honey, taking this first step is the hardest, but you have decided to turn your life around, and that is always for the best. my love and prayers go out to you. good luck.

Get your stuff together and go to the battered womens' shelter.
There are great guys out there like me that would never raise a hand to you...and once you're out you'll be able to eventually get the paperwork for a divorce.
Then just be patient and wonderful like you already are, and if this freak hasn't scared you away from the rest of us, one of us will court you and eventually be a wonderful husband that will treat you like a queen.

Call your local domestic violence hotline, they can give you all the information and help you need, give you a place to go and tell you how to do it safely, they can help you with the legal process after you get out and with financial assistance. CALL THEM NOW!

There has to be a place for you to go. Check with your county social services, or local abuse shelter. They will help you.
