I really understand. I have several guys friends (whom I have never slept with) and now several of them are married. I am friends with their wives as well. Maybe if your friend would try to get along with your wife, and take her to lunch or go to the movies with her, your wife might not care so much. Include your wife in your time together. I have lunch with both my guy friends and their wives together and separately. We have never had a problem, because I do take the time to get to know the wife and become friends with her too.

Yes, you can have the friendship without sex. The problem is the urge will or temptation will always be there, if not for you then for her. I am married and have a woman friend that is married too. Even though I am faithful to my wife, my friend has offered to sleep with me 3 times in the last 3 years. She doesn't want to break up her marriage or mine, but she feels the need for more from me because she feels closer to me than her husband. It is a tough situation to deal with as you can see. My wife suspects she would like a little more, but doesn't say anything to her because she trust me.

I know that a man/woman can have a best friend of the opposite sex with absolutely no sexual tension involved. If you are making your beautiful wife uncomfortable, ask why. Marriage is about comporomise and caring about your partner. It does not matter what the other people think.

For most people who are in a relationship/marriage, I don't recommend having a friendship with someone else of the opposite sex. I don't think that it is possible to be 'just friends' with someone of the opposite sex, like best friends. I guess it depends on the person, but in general I have to say that I don't think that it is okay and I wouldn't be okay with my bf having a female best friend, I should be his best (female) friend and if I am not than maybe he should be with her instead. Thats my opinion.

I don't think you can I KNOW you can. My best friend for years (til I moved away) was a guy. Who cares what people think, we dealt with that crap too, we used to mess with them all the time and then laugh at their stupidity! Your wife should be included in the friendship, let her become friends with the woman too.

when I was married my best friend since school was a girl. My wife understood, but I did always include my wife when I was with her just so my wife would feel more comfortable. Your wife should always come first..

yes its possible, and i am a gal and my best friend for quite awhile was a guy, we are in our teens, if your wife is uncomfortable talk to her about it, she is more important then a friend but tell other ppl to F*ck off, its none of their buisness, if they dont belive you then thats your problem.

If it affecting your marriage it is time to sever ties with your friend. If she really is your friend, she will understand. Also if your marraige doesnt work out, you'll always have a friend
