They placed band aids on the breaches. They will not make it through a tropical storm, let alone any size hurricane. They should declare the area unsafe until they really fix it!

The Nazis in the White house and Congress had the CIA blow the levees in the last hurricane to cause panic and to eliminate the poor unwanted people in Louisiana.This is just the beginning as the Fuhrer Bush said that he would like to see the population of the planet reduced by 75% including the United States.That is why he never signed on to the Kyoto Accord.Instead of cleaning up the planet he will reduce the population which is the next best thing for Global warming and pollution.

No, they aren't going to hold and it won't take another Katrina to break them. They should have been fixed years ago, but there isn't enough time or money to fix them sufficiently.
