I want to change an article about the Holly Wells & Jessica Chapman into a story...would this be wrong or offensive in anyway?

Because i was planning to be very descriptive and imaginative using these facts for my project...is this advisable? Or do you think i should come up with another idea...i was quite fond of this one.

P.S. I HAVE to use an article (or any other piece of text), and then change it to something else, in my case, i have chosen an article changing it into a short story.

i agree with the others that this would be offensive to fictionalize the story of these two girls. unless you write about the type of predators, that harmed them with no actual references to the girls or the perpetrators...no go.
write about something else as an analysis or personal slant on an article. one suggestion is the exploding batteries in the Dell and a couple of other major laptop computers. i'll give you a heads up... the batteries are made by Sony Corp and so far dell has recalled over 400,000 of their laptops/batteries and the computer companies and Sony Corp are impacted by this. choose your own subject matter just be respectful if writing about 911, people, the war, the immigration issue etc. good luck.

A respirator would not must be custom made, whether it must be custom greater healthful. it is the straps and rubber must be greater healthful to a undeniable face and then examined. Sharing respirators isn't allowed via this and in case you do share, the unique attempting out is invalid. in certainty, sharing a respirator is surely greater risky than no longer wearing one in any respect, because of the fact the greater healthful is incorrect. you apart from mght decide for a actual to positioned on a respirator. Now all it is for a artwork website, below OSHA. while you're completely volunteering, then there are no rules, yet once you have become paid in money or barter, then OSHA applies. i would not positioned on a respirator as a result. a dirt mask just to maintain splashes out of your nostril and mouth may be a reliable theory.

For goodness sake, why are you even asking this question? These two little girls have a grieving family - how dare you even consider writing about something that is absolutely none of your business. This is a crass and offensive idea, and you should be utterly ashamed of yourself. What happened to them was the result of a sick mind and you are no different. You have absolutely no respect. Grow up.

This story could be in bad taste as it will inevitably lean towrds the pornagraphic side of things. Perhaps you should find an article that is a little older and not so fresh in peoples memories and a little less topical.

I would chose something that is less controversial, as this is still a sore subject to many people. Why not use something that happened over twenty years ago, then use this as your reference, I did this this in my story and it worked well, I used the apollo space mission, but you can still be imaginative and descriptive. I wish you good luck in your project.

You have to do it tastefully or you will be slated. However, remember that Kevin Wells (Holly's Dad) did write a book about the whole series of events which was very graphic in detail so if he can do it I can't see a problem. Personally, I wouldn't be happy doing it myself!

As a story you must be careful with the tone of the piece, but do not worry about offense.
You have picked a subject that deserves to be remembered for a very long time.
Do it justice.

There is no right or wrong answer to this question. The best people to tell you if it would be offensive would be the families of the two little girls.

If you treat it sympathetically and with respect, hopefully no-one would have any objections.

I don't know what's inside that article but since you have to use an article,I don't see why you shouldn't since you are fond of your idea.
