I believe that the original idea of a god or gods came when homo sapiens gained enough intelligence to question their existence but not enough to answer the question. However you look at it, religion is one big comfort blanket against the terrifying idea that after you die ... nothing happens. You merely cease to be. I've been told that is a depressing mentality to have, but I'm not depressed by it. I've come to terms with it, and the only people it depresses are those who haven't.
Still ... I do wonder sometimes about what comes next, humans are curious by nature so if we keep searching maybe we will find something else.

i believe in nothing 100%

i dont believe in following a religion cos it divides people and causes hatred and war and can take over peoples lives, i partly believe though that there is life after death, that maybe our spirits go to an either good or bad place depending on what we've done in this life. (i dont really believe in a god though)
but i maybe only think like this cos its a comfort to know i will see loved ones again.

i believe 100% though that we should respect every living thing, even insects!

I believe in the love and support of my family and friends, who have given me the strength and hope to get through the bad times, and who I have laughed with during the happy times. I believe in peace and love for everyone, and I believe that religion has caused more death, destruction, war and unhappiness than anything else in this world, and we would all be better off without it.

Atheist! If there is a God he ain't mans creation but when Atoms became bacteria (life)we don't know how that happened or what's beyond the singularity where known maths and physics breaks down (the point of the big bang) the very edges of mans understanding. I study astrophysics so have looked into it!

I do not really believe in any one thing.
Although I think that we all evolved from various germs & bacteria, into different types of lifeforms & slowly became what we are today. I think we are all still evolving & if we could come back in a million years of so we wouldn't recognise any living thing as being the same as today. I think when we die thats it, nothing happens, we just end completely.

I believe that there is a creator, who created man, planets, ... I believe that everything we do, we say is counted. I believe that life is a very thin transient phase and after death we will be judged for all our deed. I believe in Abraham, Ismail, Issac, Jacob, and his 12 sons, I believe in Moses, Jesus and Mohamed. I believe that we are all from one mother and one father and we were created to live together in peace (Salam or Shalom) I believe in all of the above messengers and I respect all of them and I do not differentiate between any of them...The centre of my life is the believe and God. I think of God in everything I do or say. I believe in God.

Don't believe in God, at your own risk. The fool has said there is no God (quote from the Bible ).

I believe that God is an imaginary friend for adults. Why does there have to be a super power, or supreme being?
