when does your provisional rating turn into a real one?

In yahoo chess, your provisional rating will become a real one after you played 20 games.(im not really sure, its around 20)
In USCF your rating will become non-provisional after youve played 25 games.

you have to play 20 RATED games..unrated games do not count.
