I am thoroughly disgusted with our govt's response to New Orleans....OMG this is the US and we have sent billions overseas to help with natural disasters. I am heartsick over it, if you get me started I may not stop. I have sent 3 sons to IRAQ, son number four is getting ready to leave for the military....ugh, don't think I can stand much more of our govt at work.....Thanks for letting me bend your ear.

I feel that so much could had been done so long ago and I consider it awful that so many lives had to be lost just because the person in charge was too cheap to have the levees repaired, there are still unidentified bodies and families still searching for loved ones. But I think that it is great that homes and businesses are being rebuilt. I honestly can not say what the federal govt. should be doing because I do not know what they have done so far, I do think that they should make sure that every displaced family is given shelter and work and reliable funds to live by. I'm aware that people were given were money but people are still without a place to stay so what gives?

New Orleans is too low below sea level to rebuild in alot of places. They should just give it back to the wild life. Hurricanes are just going to keep wiping it out. Its a money pit.

People need to get up and out and get active, not wait for any help. Of course, take what you can get!
