Islam is looked at by most westerners as having many extremists who are not as pious as they try to pretend to be, hypocritical even. They are in fact weak individuals who have been sold a bill of goods about their religion that the majority don't believe. I don't see those calling for Jihad throwing themselves on the sword, I wonder why, is it because they are just trying to create more power for themselves by moving pawns into harms way, while they get the exposure for it and draw more followers?

What many people don't consider here is that Islamists, Christians, and Jews all believe in the same God. It is just differing branches of the same religion.
