thats because you sit on a brown velvety couch infron of a PC, too far away!

or you can get mozilaa firefox internet browser and use it to zoom in out of objects without doing anything like magnifier (which is foung in start> accesories> accesebility > magnifier).

Get mozilla fire fox http://www.mozilla.com/firefox.

and while holding down the CTRL button, use the MOUSE SCROLL to MAGNIFY or MINIMISE the screen. and release the buttons. it will stay that way. if you have firefox, try it now.

or goto desktop > right click mouse > properties > display > settings > Resolution . select the resolution yuo want!

*iam sad by the way you behave, i saw your 360!, remember what i sad about you 3 days ago?

What I've found that works the best to remedy the situation, is to Right Click on your Desktop, select Properties, select the Appearance tab.

In that window should be a button called "Effects". Click on that. You should then seen a check-box next to "Use large Icons".

Hope this helps....

appearance is the best way to increase objects size but you told you checked it and even resolution there'sn't other ways..... m'mm Maxmimizing resolutions, you need to minimize to get objects bigger in size!

> if you're using XP then you're luckt there's one utility manage tool just press winkey+U andt running magnifier ,i'm sure it'll help you.

Check the Disp. Properties > Settings > Advanced > DPI Settings.

Sometimes Graphic card comes with utility software for controlling the VGA / AGP card. Check the setting.

The easiest way to change the resolution to make things bigger is to hold the control key and roll the track ball on your mouse toward you. To make things smaller, hold the control key and roll the track ball away from you.

none of these answers helped me restore my Icons to a larger size that they were in the 1st place. They were larger but since we had to move everything out of the basement and my son set the computer back up the icons are so tiny you can hardly see what they are. I need them set back to a larger size that they were! Thanks If anyone can help me I would very much appreciate it! Marilyn

sound like it's your screen resolution. On the desktop right click and choose properties and then choose settings.
